Come join the fun at 4200 at our First Work Day Saturday, July 16 from 9 to noon
Things are shaping up great with the move to 4200!
It's gonna be a lot of fun to work together and build more friendships as we begin to take the property over more fully and begin cleaning and then the renovations.
This Saturday we'll zero in on moving gear that E320 Church is not using into a room for safe keeping until their move out date and we'll pretty up the grounds by mowing, weeding and planting a few flowers near the sign out front, etc. We'll also be cleaning the interior floors and walls and getting it spruced up until we can begin the full out renovations as soon as we're past the closing table.
Here's what you need to to do:
1. pick your team
2. email Jeff Monnin about where you'd like to serve [ if you don't care where you serve and are willing to just come serve then email Jeff that you just wanna work somewhere and he'll position you where we need firepower ]
3. come dressed with gear that you may want/need [work gloves recommended]
4. be at 4200 in the fellowship hall at 9 AM ready to roll and make some new friends
- Mowing & Weed Eating Team

- window cleaning team to clean windows inside and out and window sills

- Team Hospitality -- your job is to take care of the team with refreshments -- coffee, water and snacky stuff
- We'll have plenty of water, coffee and snacks on hand.
We'll gather at 9 Sharp in the fellowship hall to meet the team leaders and the folks from E320 and then we'll divide up and get at it!
Objectives for the day:
Learn from the E320 team what they know about how to take care of this property so we don't have to re-invent the wheel. [although, I'm sure that we'll come up with some ideas/processes that are better soon]
- Entire property mowed / weed eated
- clean all windows
- Identify all shut offs for electric, gas, water and inspect HVAC, septic, kitchen appliances, etc
- All flower beds spruced up and new flowers planted around sign
- All floors/walls cleaned
- All kids toys sanitized and nursery deep cleaned
- E320 Gear moved into room so that when it's time for them to move on out that they are closer to done
- Phos Gear organinzed in storage room so that we have an inventory of what's where
- Phos Trailers cleaned out and organized so that they can serve as overflow storage when renovation work begins
- deep clean the bathrooms
- mop the sanctuary floor
- move stage extenders back to storage
- have fun
- deepen friendships!
- crank it up at 9 and be done by noon!
So, right now please email Jeff Monnin and let him know that he can count on you and where you'd like to serve.
By the way, if you have teenagers, this is a great way for them to learn to work/serve and they can get community service hours, too.
Thanks
