Great Opp for your kids to earn Service Hours and for YOU to make a difference....

Sometimes God opens the door for Phos to make a big impact in the local community and we have one of those opps this Friday evening at Scholar House.  Scholar House is doing great work that really changes the future for many single moms and their kids.

Let's go help a little, okay?

Kris Loftis has built a cool partnership between YUM, Scholar House and Phos to pull this off!  Here are the details.  Please email Kris asap if you'll be joining us Friday evening.  Hope to see you there.

Kristen Stringfellow looking for an electric dryer and washer -- got one?

I signed the lease and moved into my townhouse Thursday evening.  I know God had His hand in it and it already feels like home.

I do need to find an inexpensive washer and dryer (electric) if anyone is getting rid of them or knows someone who has a set for sale...cheap =)  Can you post that or get the word out and keep your ear open?  I appreciate it.

Also, great messages the last 2 weeks.  Not that you don't always have a good message, but just seemed to hit me where i live the last couple weeks.

Thanks for being a "reachable" pastor.

Prayer Request from Jeff & Julie for Ryan Galloway and Joshua Fuson...

Last evening Ryan Galloway was in the passenger seat of a 'Rhino' ATV; that fortunately has a roll cage and seat belts, that was being driven by our son, Joshua, in the field behind our home when they rolled the Rhino over.  Ryan's leg and arm were broken in the rollover and EMS took him from our place to Kosair Children's downtown.  Ryan was admitted at Kosair and is awaiting word about possible surgery on his leg and arm.  We'll keep you posted as we know more.

Thank You Note to Phos from Shirley Downing....

Hi Meredith,
Will you please put this thank you in the bulletin for me?

I awoke this morning and couldn't help but look out my bedroom window once again, as I have been since Sunday.  My heart leaps for joy as tears run down my cheeks when I walk around my yard and see all of God's goodness to me and my family.  I don't even know how to express my gratitude, for the gift is so great.  Thank you my brothers and sisters for allowing God to use you once again to minister to me and my family. Now I can LIVE life and not just survive it.  God is so good!
