INNOCENCE IS PRICELESSOne Sunday morning, the pastor noticed little Alex standing in the foyer of the church staring up at a large plaque. It was covered with names and had small American flags mounted on either side of it. The six-year old had been staring at the plaque for some time, so the pastor walked up, stood beside the little boy, and said quietly, 'Good morning Alex.' 'Good morning Pastor,' he replied, still focused on the plaque. 'Pastor, what is this? ' The pastor said, 'Well son, it's a memorial to all the young men and women who died in the service.' Soberly, they just stood together, staring at the large plaque. Finally, little Alex's voice, barely audible and trembling with fear asked, 'Which service, the 8:30 or the 10:30?'

Subject: RE: Mom
Hey Jeff and Mike,
Mom was really ill the last couple of days. Then yesterday Laura (my sister) starting putting out facebook posts, emails and calls asking for prayer and today Mom is doing good. Although she still feels slightly ill, she is 100% better. It just goes to show the difference prayer can make, even if we are just asking to feel better. God is good, all the time and All the time, God is Good!!!
Praise him, Praise him The Lord Almighty for he IS good!!
By the grace of God,
Your sister in Christ

Mike,Mom had her third chemo treatment of six today and she is doing well. She even was up playing cornhole this afternoon. As you know, mom had a very rough time with her first chemo treatment and ended up in the hospital, spending several in ICU. My sisters and I were very concerned about her and even more so about her future treatments. So, then I asked for prayer(why do we always wait until things are bad to ask for God's protection and healing).I Know that prayer is powerful and healing and I want to tell those who are praying for my mother that there is no doubt in my mind that my mothers second chemo treatment went so smoothly and with very little after effects because of the prayers that were lifted up on her behalf.Thank you so much for those prayers and now I just ask that those prayers continue as she continues the treatments over the next couple of months.Thank you again,Your sister in Christ,Karen
